Updateeeee :-]

Brayden has FINALLY started sleeping good again! Last night he went to bed at 8:45 and slept until 10:45 this morning with just waking up once to eat! I was starting to think I was losing my good little sleeper, but he is back! For about the past week he has been getting better and better :) Man, sleep deprivation is HARD. It makes days and nights seem sooo long. I feel like I can enjoy Brayden so much more when I'm well rested :) Makes sense.

Blake has been working a lot lately and very busy with many projects, so I have had to find things to keep myself entertained... so I started up my boutique again :) during nap time I was getting very bored. I am so excited about getting back into my boutique because it gives me some "me" time. You never realize how much you need me time until you have a baby! If there is anything I have learned from being a mom it's how important taking tie for yourself is and how important it is to ask for help. I tend to try to do everything by myself and put a lot of pressure on getting everything on my to-do list done. I have to constantly remind myself that as long as I am taking care of Brayden during the day that I am doing pretty good and anything else I get done is an added bonus.

We got the new Nike Fitness Kinect game and I have been working out everyday and have lost 3 more pounds! Man, I love this! Haha breastfeeding, eating healthy and exercising is the perfect fomula for lots of weight loss! I actually bought a pair of jeans this week at American Eagle that are just 1 size bigger than my original jean size so I don't have to wear maternity jeans all the time lol even though they are OH so attractive. I have about 12 pounds left to go and I am definitely motivated to lose it! Having a baby and getting back in shape after is so empowering! After having Brayden I feel like I can do anything... except everything involving heights haha

I put him in his jumper while I cooked dinner and came back in about ten minutes to this haha

He does some crazy things with his face... haha.

Haha funny faces.

Grandma Lisa sent him this giraffe teether and he LOVES it.

This is how he sleeps every night, I put him in his crib flat on his back and he rolls onto his side :)

Brayden is just getting more and more fun as he gets older, he got a johnny jump up and loves to jump around in it, especially to music! (taylor swift music, shh don't tell Blake) haha I always have my Taylor Swift Pandora station on or my Plumb station, which is actually my new obsession. Anyways, that's what is going on in our life lately! Check out my Manda's BOWtique facebook page for a giveaway if you haven't already!

Loving life!

We got back a week ago from a 2 1/2 week long vacation in Kansas visiting friends and family. We had so much fun, but it is very nice to be home with our own space :) Christmas was a blast, I've never gotten so many presents in my life! I got tons of new clothes, accessories, shoes, a tablet, a camera and lots of other stuff, I feel very blessed. Brayden got tons of new clothes also and lots of toys. Being home made Blake and I realize just how much we have missed Kansas, it is hard being so far away from family but we are so glad for all the friends we have made here in Seattle who have helped us feel more at home.

Brayden is 3 months and 1 week old and is very VOCAL. Not only vocal, but LOUD. Yesterday we were at Panera and he was just "blah, BLAH, blah, goo, MA" I felt bad because everyone around us was being so quiet, but everyone kept smiling at him so I figured it was okay haha.

Tonight we are going to buy Brayden a mattress for his crib so he will most likely be sleeping in his own room tonight :-/ I have mixed feelings about it, but we will see how it goes. It is so hard to accept the fact that my little baby isn't going to be a baby forever! He has been rolling from front to back since he was less than a month old but he just started rolling back to front recently. He always wants to be chewing on his hands. He talks a lot and if Blake or I isn't looking at him while he talks he will yell until we look at him and then he gets a big grin on his face. He has gotten much better about NOT blowing out of his diaper, which I greatly appreciate! Except earlier this week he pooped ALL over Blake and it was hilarious! He has been taking steps while we hold him and doesn't want to just stand in one spot anymore... seriously, growing up WAY too fast.

The past month I've had 2 toe surgeries on my ingrown toenails (gross, I know) but it has not been fun having sore, swollen toes and I am so glad I only have another week of having to wear special bandages! The past week I've had some bacterial infection in my throat that caused my uvula to swell up to double it's normal size. Swallowing has been a real issue and since my uvula is swollen it has been constantly touching the back of my tongue and making me gag. Overall, NOT fun but I went to the doctor yesterday and hey prescribed me some magic mouthwash that numbs up my throat and this morning my uvula was a little less swollen :)
I have lost 45 pounds since I had Brayden and I am feeling a lot better about myself, the eating healthy and exercising is paying off! Above is a picture taken today, still have work to do to get rid of my pooch belly, but I am seeing progress! And my wedding ring fits again!
I have missed my ring! And it's a beautiful sunny day outside which is rare in Seattle during the winter so I've been having a pretty fabulous day!
